Church Life

Here are a few of the great things that are going on in the life of our vibrant church!

Worship

We are a Church that is passionate about worship. If you would like to become a member of our worship team, have attended SSCC for 3 months and are gifted in playing an instrument or singing, please contact Pastor Jai!

South Shore Youth

Every Friday @ 7pm our youth group meets in the Church for Games, Music, Discussion, Bible teaching and lots of hang out time! if you’re in grade 6 to secondary 5 and would like to come along please contact Pastor Chantelle!

Community Groups

Imagine being part of a small group that meets in a home, where you get to study the Bible, pray and grow together. Imagine a group where you feel comfortable exploring searching questions about how we live for Jesus in our world. Welcome to community groups! Community Groups are a Church-wide priority and a huge part of the culture of how we do Church.

Kids Church

Our Kids Church runs every Sunday morning for Children ages 3 to grade 6. Running a great program with fun, games, videos, music, interactive teaching. Come and see how exciting Church can be for kids!

Café House

One of the quickest ways to make new friends at Church is by heading down to the Café after the Sunday worship service. Grab yourself a coffee and some light refreshments and say “Hi”.
A warm welcome awaits you!

Emergency Food Bank

We offer emergency food parcels to those in desperate need. Please contact the Church office for assistance.

Donations of non-perishable foods are accepted every Sunday at the Side Entrance to the Church.

Nursery

A staffed nursery is currently available on the first and third Sundays of each month (we’re hoping every week soon!). On the second and fourth Sundays, the nursery is “self-serve.” Please talk to Pastor Faith-Anne or Pastor Chantelle for more details!

Missionaries

We support missionaries in Thailand & missionaries in restricted access nations through prayer and financial support. Our missions program is coordinated by our dedicated missions committee. Updates are given regularly.
